Welcome to Domestic Darling!

Hi! I'm Amy and I am the voice behind Domestic Darling, a place to collect my thoughts, share ideas,recipes, goals and concerns in an ever changing world while navigating the rewarding, sticky, exhausting, frustrating and hilarious ride of parenthood. I am a wife, and mother of two sticky, exhausting, frustrating and hilarious kids. Our girls are; Swell "L", the sweetest, most fragile-hearted 9 year old and Baby "D", our precocious, hilarious 22 month old!

Why do I call this blog "Domestic Darling?" They say to write what you know. The definition of 'Domestic' is; 1. Relating to the running of a home or to family relations, 2. A person who is paid to help with menial tasks such as cleaning and 3. Existing or occurring inside a particular country, (proud Canadian here). Well despite the getting paid part, I think that pretty much sums up my everyday life. My greatest achievement so far? Getting to be a Mom to two of the most beautiful little Darlings in the world!
